Terms & Conditions - The Basics 

1. Services
Linda Chinwe & Co Chartered Accountants provides professional accountancy, tax advisory, compliance, financial management, and related services to individual and corporate clients in Nigeria. All services are provided based on the information and documents you provide.

2. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for us to perform our services. Failure to provide correct information may affect the quality of advice or reporting, and the firm will not be liable for consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete client information.

3. Fees and Payment

  • Fees for services will be agreed in writing prior to commencement.

  • Payments must be made in accordance with agreed timelines.

  • Late payments may incur interest or suspension of services until outstanding amounts are settled.
     

4. Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting the confidentiality of all client information. Client data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law, regulatory authorities, or with your prior consent.

5. Intellectual Property
All materials, reports, templates, and content provided by Linda Chinwe & Co Chartered Accountants remain the property of the firm. Clients are granted a limited license to use these materials solely for their own internal purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability
While we aim to provide accurate and professional advice, the firm is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services. Liability for direct loss caused by negligence will be limited to the fees paid for the relevant service.

7. Compliance and Legal Requirements
Clients are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations. Linda Chinwe & Co Chartered Accountants provides guidance based on current laws but cannot guarantee outcomes with regulatory authorities such as the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) or other governmental bodies.

8. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice. Fees for work completed up to the termination date remain payable.

9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from the engagement or use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.

10. Changes to Terms
Linda Chinwe & Co Chartered Accountants reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
